Summer is right around the corner- the days are growing longer, temperatures are rising, and the beach traffic is back! The demand for travel has returned to pre-pandemic numbers, and experts predict vacation-goers will return in Summer 2022 with a vengeance. But with inflation at historic levels, we can expect the cost of travel to be high, which may cause some to stay closer to home this season.
Lucky for us we live in the Bay Area! Yes, we pay outrageous prices to live where we do, but let’s put that aside for a moment and focus on all the positives- the weather, the natural beauty, the diversity and the proximity to so many amazing destinations. Although the cost of travel this summer may keep you from booking that flight to Bora Bora, you still have plenty of options nearby! Make plans to stay close to home- a place where many people from around the world will be spending their money to travel to in the coming months.
